The 2007 Dodge Dakota is another year with the inclusion of the Road and Track (R/T) optional package. The Road and Track (R/T) package comes with a sporty and attractive hood scoop, a stylish and exclusive gauge cluster as well as cosmetic side decals.

Engine options for the 2006 Dodge Dakota are refreshed for the new year:

  • 3.7L V-6 210HP and 235FTLB of torque

  • 4.7L V-8 230HP and 295FTLB of torque

  • 4.7L V-8 260HP and 310FTLB of torque (high output)

  • 4.7L V-8 260HP and 310FTLB of torque (flex-fuel)

The addition of the Flex Fuel engine for 2007 has ushered in a new era of sport pickup trucks by allowing even more buyer customization with the ability to run an alternative fuel source such as E-85 Ethanol. The 2007 Dodge Dakota boasts an incredible 7,000 pound and more towing capacity and a EPA-estimated 22MPG on the highway.
